It is essential for all visitors to understand the importance of personal responsibility and hygiene practices, particularly handwashing, to reduce any health risks.

Animal-Related Health Risks at Visitor Attractions:

All animals naturally carry various microorganisms, some of which can be transmitted to humans, causing illnesses known as zoonoses. Some of these illnesses can be severe or even life-threatening.

How Infections Occur:

Infections can happen through consuming contaminated food or drink, direct contact with animals, exposure to environments contaminated with animal faeces, or animal bites. Even small amounts of microorganisms can lead to human infections.

However, your cooperation is vital in ensuring a safe visit:

Personal Responsibility: Be mindful of your actions and interactions with animals.
