Covid-19 - your safety

Your safety when visiting us is paramount here at Cockfields Farm Park.

Due to the current Coronavirus Pandemic we have had to change the way we run the farm to make sure we can provide a safe & enjoyable experience for both our Visitors & Staff

Before your visit please read the below points .

  • You must book your tickets online before you enter, we will not be selling tickets on the door .
  • Do not visit us if you or any of your household have symptoms of Coronavirus.
  • We will not be accepting cash only card payments.
  • Our Farm will be open all day but we have implemented a staggered entry system to ensure we can manage numbers on site at any one time. when booking your tickets please arrive promptly at the time you book.
  • Our Indoor play areas will be closed initially.
  • Our Animal Handling sessions are planned so we can provide plenty of room for social distancing with your family group.
  • We actively encourage people to wash and sanitise their hands with extra hand-wash stations and sanitising points around the farm.
  • We will have a dedicated member of Staff constantly on patrol cleaning all surfaces.
  • We have installed a 1 way walkway system through our indoor building with social distancing markers, please adhere to these.
  • Our toilet facilities have been halved to provide better social distancing and the frequency of cleaning has been enhanced
  • We have a social distance queuing system in place for when you arrive plus safety information at the entrance
  • Our staff will be protected by perspex sneeze screens
  • Our outdoor play areas will be monitored for overcrowding and we have family limits per area we would ask you to follow.
  • We have hand sanitising points at the entrance to all play areas for you to use before and after play
  • Our play areas will be deep cleaned between sessions
  • Our cafe will be serving a limited menu to provide a faster service and we have cut seating capacity by 2/3rd s and installed more picnic benches outside.
  • Please respect our staff and follow any advice given it is for your own safety
  • And above all else enjoy your day!
  • We encourage as per Guidelines that face coverings be worn if you intend to shop for any length of time on our Gift Shop.

You can purchase these tickets on the day too please do not arrive without booking tickets.

We have drastically reduced our visitor numbers down to approximately 20% of a peak day which we will review regularly

If you Purchased tickets for an event while we were in Lockdown we have made all these tickets redeemable from when we reopen until the end of October. Being a Farm park with Animal contact we are very strict on cleanliness already. 

We have increase the number of hand-wash points on the exits from our animal contact areas and we have installed hand sanitiser points around the farm.  We have a dedicated member  of staff patrolling the farm constantly cleaning contact surfaces 

Yes you can still hand feed the farm animals but you must wash your hands with soap and water for 20 seconds before you leave the barn as hand sanitiser will not safeguard against some animal diseases like ECOLI 0157

Yes we have a dedicated Animal barn with plenty of space to ensure social distancing, and strict hygiene practices in place.

For the time being i'm afraid the Role Play Area & Straw Mountain will be closed.

Yes our outdoor Play Areas are open. We will be adding a limit of the number of family groups who can use these areas at a time and we ask for your cooperation in operating a fair use policy.

Our cafe is open but our menu has been drastically reduced to help speed up service, we have also cut the number of indoor seating by 2/3rds and increased the eating areas outside. We ask you please to help keep our staff safe by clearing your table and washing your hands when finished.

Yes Picnics are welcome but you must use the outdoor Picnic benches and dispose of your rubbish in the bins provided.

We will be operating a cashless system at the farm for the foreseeable future, we do accept contactless and chip and pin card payments 

when you book your tickets. you will book an arrival time. Please ensure you arrive on time for your visit. you can they stay for the rest of the day until we close
